About the Job:
A2F Consulting is looking for an Economist/Senior Economist. S/he will provide advisory services to public and private sector clients on macroeconomic management issues (e.g, market assessments, surveys, impact evaluation, etc.).
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Support business development including the regular review of procurement notices by international development agencies and preparation of project/investment proposals;
- Prepare proposals and technical reports;
- Knowledge management and training.
Qualifications:
- Avanced degree, such as MS, MBA, or PhD in Economics or Finance from an accredited university;
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years post-graduate work experience;
- Strong quantitative skills and knowledge of statistics software such as STATA or Eviews;
- Excellent analytical and conceptual skills;
- Outstanding oral and written communication;
- Team player with strong client management and interpersonal skills;
- Working knowledge of a foreign language would be a plus;
- Willingness to travel extensively and work in a multicultural environment.
