About the Organization:
Ujjivan is an MFI based in Bangalore, India. Its primary focus is on providing financial services to the urban and semi-urban economically active poor women. In a jointly funded program with staff, Ujjivan provides emergency relief from natural and manmade disasters to customers and staff across the country. Healthcare, education, and vocational training programs are also provided to the customers in collaboration with its sister non-profit organization, Parinaam Foundation.

About the Job:
Ujjivan is looking for a Customer Relationship Manager to manage all the field-related operations. S/he will be reporting to the distribution manager or chief operating officer. The position is based at multiple locations (Delhi/Kolkata/Jharkhand/Pune).

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overall business of the branch;
  • Selling, servicing, collecting from customers;
  • Lead a team of field staff;
  • Manage the branch and field operations.

 

Qualifications:

  • Should have a degree/Master's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Community Development, Agriculture or Business;
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in any microfinance organization or finance company or NGO working with SHGs on development projects;
  • Ability and willingness for hands on work in the field with customers;
  • Strong in business development skills to build and manage the business;
  • Working knowledge of accounting;
  • Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel or equivalent;
  • Fluent in Kannada/local language with working knowledge of English.
