Project Manager, Tanzania

Project Manager, Tanzania

LivLife are recruiting for a new Project Manager based in Tanzania. This is a wonderful role for the right person – wide-ranging, exciting, challenging and with the potential to make great friends and a lasting difference.

One day you may be delivering training in financial management or developing a project proposal, the next you could be overseeing a Skype link up with a UK-based school or sourcing building materials. There will be a heavy training-focus and you’ll be working very closely with our partner organisation (who run the centres and help deliver our projects) on a daily basis, although you will be the only non-Tanzanian LivLife worker in country.

We are looking for someone quite unique. You will have to be a people person, sensitive, yet also a meticulous organiser. You will be able to develop your own ideas, yet prioritise getting ideas from our local partners. You will be a great communicator, able to build a rapport with people who don’t speak your language fluently. You must be able to meet tight timescales, yet be flexible and adaptable to respond to the unexpected challenges that Tanzania throws at you. Importantly, you will be patient.

We’re a friendly charity, and we like to think we’re a bit different (doesn’t everyone?). Our people are the greatest asset we have and there is great scope for personal and professional development. So if you think you can bring something new to the team, please apply by downloading the application pack from the website here: http://livlife.org/_file/qaGbZDEcVC_152570.pdf.

Applications must reach us by Friday 5th October, 5pm (UK time).

Please mention Najmjob in your application
