About the Organization:
Community Economic Ventures, Inc. (CEVI) is a Christian, non-stock, non-profit, non-government organization in the Philippines. It is organized to respond to the needs of micro-entrepreneurs engaged in trading, manufacturing, and service-type businesses through the provision of financial and technical assistance. CEVI is a microfinance arm of World Vision Development Foundation, and part of the global network of VisionFund International.

About the Job:
CEVI is looking for:

  • Area Manager: S/he will provide assistance to the operations manager in the effective and efficient implementation of the program at his respective area of coverage;
  • Branch Manager: s/he will be responsible in managing credit programs and services within the branch;
  • Recruitment Specialist: S/he will provide technical expertise in the development, implementation, and coordination of human resource planning and recruitment strategies and processes in support to the goal and objectives of CEVI with the end in view of creating a change-ready organization that undertakes continuous improvement of the quality and effectiveness of its people/human resources;
  • HQ Accountant: S/he will be responsible for reviewing all HQ financial transactions and in maintaining schedules of account. S/he will perform variety of accounting tasks involved in maintaining financial records and processing related data, monitor, verify, and reconcile accounts.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Area Manager:
    • Planning;
    • Monitoring and evaluation;
    • Human resource functions;
    • Reporting functions.
  • Branch Manager:
    • Planning;
    • Credit administration;
    • Monitoring and evaluation;
    • Human resources functions;
    • Reporting functions;
    • Community involvement.
  • Recruitment Specialist:
    • HR planning;
    • Recruitment, selection, and placement;
    • HR records management and communications;
    • Capacity building.
  • HQ Accountant:
    • Financial review, recording, and reporting;
    • Financial monitoring;
    • Technical support.

Qualifications:

  • Area Manager:
    • Male or female of 25 to 40 years old;
    • Must be a Graduate of any business related course;
    • At least 2 years of experience in MFI or related field;
    • Experience in project/branch management or any supervisory position;
    • Good communication skills (writing and verbal).
  • Branch Manager:
    • Male or female of 25 to 35 years old;
    • Must be a Graduate of any business related course;
    • At least 2 years of experience in MFI or related field;
    • Good communication skills (writing and verbal).
  • Recruitment Specialist:
    • Male or female of 22 to 35 years old;
    • Must be a Graduate of Psychology or an equivalent degree;
    • Preferably with recruitment or human resource management experience;
    • Stays committed to work under pressure.
  • HQ Accountant:
    • Male or female of 22 to 30 years old;
    • Candidate must be a Graduate of Accountancy preferably a certified public accountant;
    • Preferably with at least 1 year of accounting related experience;
    • Stays committed to work under pressure.
