Labor market information specialists – Morocco

RTI is currently accepting expressions of interests from candidates for an anticipated USAID-funded youth workforce development program in Morocco. The project will focus on improving labor market information and intermediation, improving the employability of youth and job placement, and implementing demand-driven workforce development programming.

Labor market information specialists

Duties: Analyze labor market information (LMI), identify labor market trends and data, and support the application of LMI to inform workforce programming in Morocco and improve labor market intermediation between supply and demand. Additional responsibilities may include job matching facilitation functions; use of technologies with internet and mobile ICT platforms; conducting labor market assessments with employers; survey-based data collection; and labor market policy analysis and recommendations.

Minimum qualifications:

  • University or advanced degree in Economics, Statistics Human Resource Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, Education, or related field.
  • Experience in labor market information systems, labor economics, labor market policy, or human resources preferred.
  • Prior experience in the MENA (Middle East North Africa) region is necessary; prior experience in Morocco is preferred.
  • Fluency in Arabic, French are required and English preferred.
